Playful Strategy Weekly: Man, Play, and Games 1.2 “Separate”

In each episode of Playful Strategy Weekly I share elements, thoughts, and illustrations from a variety of play related books and articles I read. In this second episode, we continue with the definition of Play from the seminal Man, Play, and Games from French sociologist Roger Caillois.

In the book, he defines play as an activity containing six main characteristics, or qualities, and we continue with the second one of six in this video.

I illustrate the points made in the video thanks to BBDO Your Home, and The Born Free Foundation Creature Discomforts: Life in Lockdown.
